Last Thursday, June 14, Mercalicante became the epicenter of agrotech innovation by hosting the “First Meeting of Start-ups for Food Innovation”, which brought together seven emerging companies in an event dedicated to food innovation.
The event, organized by the Alicante City Council in collaboration with Mercalicante, featured the participation of emerging companies from Alicante that are setting trends in the agrotech field. From sustainable farming systems to technological solutions to improve the supply chain, each company presented its innovative proposals to an audience eager for knowledge and news.
For ABD, this conference represents a unique opportunity to share our experience in the digitalization of food safety processes. As a community committed to innovation and sustainable development, we are excited to see how startups collaborate to transform the way we produce and consume food.
The event culminated with a networking session where attendees had the opportunity to interact with representatives of participating companies, establishing links and exploring possible future collaborations. Without a doubt, this event has been a step forward on the path towards a more dynamic, collaborative and future-oriented agrotech sector.
At ABD, we will continue to support and promote initiatives like this that promote the growth and sustainability of the agri-food sector. The future of agriculture and food is underway!
